We have a new calendar for the guided tour season. We offer a nice plan for your family and friends.

We propose you to discover the world of citrus fruits, getting to know first-hand an organic garden, its natural, agricultural and landscape values.

You will taste the different varieties of seasonal citrus fruits, you will learn the details of their cultivation, you will walk among centenary orange trees and you will enjoy a monumental orchard located in a 19th century architectural complex.

We also serve Valencian Almuerzo for groups if you like to. (Valencian Brunch). Please check availability first by mail.

Orange Tour calendar

The visit dedicated to unique citrus fruits, such as Buddha’s hand, citron, citrus caviar or kaffir lime, will allow you to discover their origins, their cultivation and enjoy their special flavors and smells.

October is the month if you want to begin with us the organic mandarin season, we are waiting for you for the clementine harvest, to sweetly say goodbye to summer and start an autumn full of vitamins.

November brings us the time for organic pomegranates, you will taste them directly from the tree, walk through the orange groves and enjoy the first navelinas.

December, January and february are the Stars of the orange season. Months full of varieties.

In March and April the orange trees are in bloom and our fields are full of white flowers. We dedicate these months to enjoy the orange blossom and the world of honey and bees.

In May we begin the orange blossom honey season.

In June, July and August the oranges begin to take size for the next season. In these months the tours are at 9:30 or 19:00 to enjoy the cooler part of the day.

Timetable of the tours

  • 10:30 to 11:00 Reception at the Huerto near the workers house.
  • 11:00 to 12:30 Guided walk trough the organic citrus farm, and the architectural complex (Monumental main building, romantic gardens, workers house, chapel and our small shop dedicated to the citrus fruits world).

Timetable of the tours in the afternoon

  • 17:00 to 17:30 Reception in the Huerto near the workers house.
  • 17:30 to 19:00 Guided walk trough the organic citrus farm, and the architectural complex (Monumental main building, romantic gardens, workers house, chapel and our small shop dedicated to the citrus fruits world).

Special summer schedule (from July 1 to September 15)

  • 9:30 in the morning
  • 19:00 in the afternoon

How to get here

By car: You can get here by car in 40 minutes aprox from Valencia city center and you can park here in the farm. To see the track click here.

By bike: You can get to the Huerto in 12 minutes from Carcaixent Train Station. (3 Km) Part of the way is in bike lane but they are streets with little traffic and can be traveled comfortably and thus the architecture of this town in the Ribera region is also known a little. To see the track click here. Tha farm is just located near the bike path known as Camino natural del Antic trenet. We have a small present for all the people who come by bike.

By train: from the Nord station in València a train leaves approximately every hour (check timetables here). Best combination is taking the train round 9:23 and arrive to Carcaixent at 9:58. If you want we can pick you up but please book this service previously.

What to bring with you:

Comfortable clothes and shoes for the countryside, together with a great desire to walk.

Price

The tour costs 18 € for adults and 9 € for boys and girls 6-12 years old.

The farm is a relaxing space where you can enjoy whith no hurries.

Consult for groups of less than 6 people.
